What's even more heartbreaking than Michelle Kwan's withdrawal 2 weeks ago was that judging by the women's performances in last night's free skate competition, Michelle had a solid chance at Gold. None of the ladies pulled off a triple triple combination, Slutskaya seemed to have crumbled under the pressure, and Cohen's fire went out early on. The Olympic Gold could've really been hers this time around. Kwan... 2010...?

what does exhaustion feel like? right now. had an all day offsite meeting that required me to be in malibu hills by 830am when i usually dont even get into work til 10. plus i had to carpool w/ a coworker, which meant my alarm went off at 620am (vs 830). this is on top of not being able to fall asleep last night til 3 bc i was sick and stuffed up/sore throat. anyhow, stuffed up entire day, voice wasnt all there, yet i had to talk and brainstorm. offsite rolled into drinks+dinner. didnt get home til 10. logged on and found 85 unread new emails from work. dead tired, exhausted from blowing my nose all day, and just realized we have an all hands meeting promptly at 9am tomorrow.
